The launch of the World Alliance for Disaster Management (WADM) in Taiwan marks a significant step towards enhancing global disaster preparedness and response. In a gathering hosted in Taipei, Taiwan’s Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung and Interior Minister Liu Shyh-fang emphasized the critical need for international cooperation in tackling disasters that transcend national borders. Lin underscored the importance of building resilience and improving preparedness through cross-border collaboration, highlighting that shared challenges require shared solutions.
