Wang Xingxing, the founder and CEO of Unitree Robotics, a leading Chinese humanoid robot producer, shared a measured perspective on when this breakthrough might occur. Speaking at the 2026 World Robot Conference in Beijing on August 20, Wang suggested that embodied intelligence could hit a transformative tipping point similar to the impact of ChatGPT within two to three years. However, he noted that a slower progression might extend this timeline to five to ten years.
