China Airlines has taken a significant step in enhancing its presence in Japan by launching a new daily flight service between Taichung and Okinawa. This addition boosts the airline’s network, bringing the total number of round-trip flights between Taiwan and Japan to over 170 each week. The route is serviced by the Airbus A321neo, offering greater connectivity for travelers.

The newly introduced service includes Flight CI310, which departs from Taichung at 10:00 a.m. and lands in Okinawa at 12:40 p.m. For the return journey, Flight CI311 leaves Okinawa at 1:40 p.m. and arrives back in Taichung by 2:10 p.m. This schedule is designed to cater to both business and leisure travelers seeking convenient travel options between the two destinations.

In a further development, China Airlines is set to expand this route with the introduction of a second daily service starting on August 13. This additional service, Flight CI312, will depart Taichung at 3:20 p.m., touching down in Okinawa at 6:00 p.m. The corresponding return flight, CI313, will leave Okinawa at 7:00 p.m. and arrive in Taichung at 7:30 p.m., providing more flexibility for passengers.

With the incorporation of these new services, China Airlines will operate approximately 30 round-trip flights to Okinawa every week, including existing routes from Taipei and Kaohsiung. This strategic expansion underscores the airline’s commitment to strengthening travel links between Taiwan and Japan, offering enhanced options for those traveling for both business and leisure purposes.
